2021 +1 Membership Campaign

Dear UNA-USA member,

Today is the day—the 2021 +1 Membership campaign has officially launched! Between now and October 24, we're challenging you to add friends, family, peers, and colleagues to our movement and help us multiply our membership before UN Day!

Just as you would bring someone with whom you have shared interests to a party or an event as your “+1,” bring them to UNA-USA! It’s your chance to add another voice to the movement of supporters who believe that the United Nations is truly the only organization that can get us closer to a more just, peaceful, healthy, and equitable world.

This is your opportunity to show others who we are and how they can make a difference as a UNA-USA member. Tell them your story and why the UN matters to you. Let them know how they can help advance progress on the Sustainable Development Goals in their community. Explain why we need them in our movement, and in turn, what they will gain by joining the largest network of UN advocates in the country.

Also, did we mention our top referrers will receive monetary prizes to benefit their chapter's programs and initiatives? Review the campaign rules to see what you or your chapter could win.

For those you invite to join UNA-USA, please make sure they follow the steps below so you receive proper credit for your referral(s).

**They must join at unausa.org/join/membership (If they are under the age of 26, they must join at unausa.org/join/youth).

**They must fill out all required fields.

**In the box that asks “did a current member refer you to join UNA-USA”, they must enter YOUR FULL NAME.

In the box below that asks for your chapter, they must enter the NAME OF YOUR CHAPTER or 'MEMBER AT LARGE'.
